We are doing the Pirates & Pals cruise one night and we're supposed to be there around 8:30. I was hoping that we would be able to go to MK for rope drop that morning, go back to AoA for a rest (DD4 will have to nap to stay up for 10pm Wishes), and then return that afternoon around 4:30 or 5 and just walk around, maybe do a ride or two (if its not too crowded) or maybe just check out the shops.

My question is, would we be able to park at CR 4 hours before our Pirates&Pals reservation? Because obviously we would MUCH rather just drive back to AoA from CR at the end of the night, rather than trying to get out of MK. Even if we don't end up spending much time at MK that afternoon,I think it will be our only chance to ride the monorail too, which I know DD will like.

You will probably be limited to a three hour parking permit if you are not staying at the CR. Unless the cruise is four hours long.

When are you going? If around a holiday time, you might not be permitted to park at all.

We're going the 3rd week of April...so I think we will miss the majority of spring break crowds. Do I remember reading somewhere that if you valet park you can park longer? Or am I crazy, lol?

Ok thank you! I think it might be worth it for a quicker exit on such a late night.
