Is the parking still free at the parks with the vehicle ID card you are given at the resorts?

It used to be but I know they made some changes for the parking rules.

Thanks

if you're staying on-site at a Disney resort - yes, it's free
if you have an annual pass - yes, it's free

thanks for the info. We would rather drive to the parks than take the bus from POR. What are the rules about parkig at at different resort? We have an ADR for 'Ohana at 10p after MVMCP and would like to park at Poly and take the boat...anyone?

Your pass is only good at your resort. If you are having dinner at the Poly, they will allow you (or anyone else) to park short-term at the resort. However, at the monorail resorts they often give you a three hour pass. At peak times you can risk towing if you overstay your welcome.

Staying offsite - Can I leave car at DTD for the day, take the bus to EPcot and then return to DTD by bus for ADR at Portobellos that night? What time in the AM does the bus start going to DTD?
Thanks for any and all advice.

Nope, you cannot park at DD for the day. This was such a problem a few years ago, with locals and off-site Guests taking up all the parking at DD, that Disney has now eliminmated busses from the parks to DD and eliminated buses from DD to the parks, so it's impossible to get directly to Epcot from DD. You'd have to go to a resort and transfer, with total travel time in excess of an hour each way - all to save a paltry $9.

Parking at the theme parks now costs $9 per day (all day, even if you change parks or leave and come back), unless you are an on-site Guest or have an AP. I don't think it's so unreasonable a rate to warrant spending an hour on busses every morning and another hour every evening to get to and from a place with free parking, not to mention the fact that you'd be taking up parking at DD that is meant for DD Guests.

WillCAD I was not so concerned with the $ as having to get back to a park to pick up the car by a certain time after dinner. We have stayed on property before and don't mind the bus taking an hour or so. In fact last time we had to walk from the Fairway Villas (now Saratoga) around the lake to PI everynight because it was ridiculous to find a parking spot and then have to walk anyways. We usually take later ADRs because we have all older kid now and we usually don't eat at restaurants in the parks at night.

Thanks for the info. Is there any summary info on the boards re: which resorts have a limited parking time, etc. We do have 7day MYW premium tickets if that makes a difference.
