We have gold annual passes/included parking. Can we still park our car at a park parking lot without a park reservation for that day? Or will the parking lot attendants only let us in now with a park reservation for that day? For example, if we wanted to park at Hollywood studios and take the skyliner to a resort for a snack/shopping trip.

We have parked at Hollywood Studios when our park reservation was for Epcot because we were hopping back to Studios in the evening.

In October, we parked at DHS (no park reservation) and took the Skyliner to Riviera for lunch. We just told them at the parking entrance that's what we were doing and they let us through. YMMV.

In my experience the CM's at the booth ask if you have a park reservation. It always seems to be a reminder rather than a reservation check.

Right. They don't want uninformed people without reservations parking and getting all the way to the turnstiles and then being upset because they aren't allowed in (although I wonder how often that scene plays out at the "toll plaza" when they inform people they won't be able to enter the park).

But if you let them know that you're not planning on going to the park, but just taking the skyliner to the resort for lunch, for example, you've acknowledged that you don't have a reservation because you don't need one since you're not trying to enter the park.

Disney actively encourages people to park at DHS if they want to take a ride on the Skyliner or visit any of the Skyliner resorts. So, no, they are not going to turn you away if you don't have a park reservation.
