Are we allowed to park in other resort parking lots? If we are staying at the CBR, can we park at the GF for the Monorail?

No. Resort parking lots are for resort guests and visitors who are dining at the resorts. They are not for theme park parking.

The general idea is that you may park for free at other resorts while visiting or dining there, but when you are ready to leave you must drive to your next destination.

Sometimes, due to busy times, you may have to have a restaurant reservation (or be staying) at the resort to even get into the parking lot.

If you give your car to the valet instead of parking yourself, the valet is almost always less attentive about whether you leave the car there all day.

It sounds like you just want to ride the monorail to MK. Parking at MK is across the lake at the TTC, so you'll have to take the monorail or the ferry from there, anyway.

However as a guest of CBR, you will receive free theme park parking. As such, you can park at the TTC and take either the express or resort monorail, as desired.

Unless you are willing to pay for valet parking at the GF ($12 plus tips), you will more than likely have to park in the lot across the street from the GF and it's a bit of a hike from there to the GF monorail station, probably farther than if you just parked at the TTC parking lot and take the tram and Monorail/Boat.
IMHO it's not worth it, unless you have some sort of special needs.

Most here will tell you it's better to take the bus from CBR or any resort for that matter to the MK, because the bus will drop you closer to the park entrance, than if you drive to TTC parking lot and then take a tram and monorail/boat to get to the MK entrance.

Can you? Sure, you can probably do it with no one saying anything to you. Should you? No. Yes, you're a paying, onsite resort guest. But that doesn't entitle you to park at any old resort you want to, unless you are availing yourself of that resort's services. Besides, the guest parking at the GF is among the worst onsite. I would just park at the TTC..and monorail over to MK that way. I can't imagine anyone parking at the GF in order to use the monorail.

The issue with the resort hotel lots is that they are small and simply can't accommodate more than the hotel's guests and people with ADRs. This can be seen by looking on google earth or maps at the TTC lot vs the Poly lot.

People who are staying at the hotel have no other choice but to park there and there is no worse feeling than coming back to your resort only to find there is no parking spot. And I've experienced that and it's terrible. Please leave the resort's parking for the resort's guests.

Thanks everyone!

GF is the resort we stayed at 20-something years ago. Even though we will have our car, I panic and over think just about everything. So thanks again for bringing me back down! LOL
