Parking at Monorail Resort for Quick Service?

I've seen posts for off-site guests being allowed to park for 3 hours at the monorail resorts for an ADR. However, what if someone wants to eat quick service at one of the monorail resorts? Since they don't have an ADR, would they still receive a 3-hour pass to park there? And if you're allowed, do you just pull up to the parking lot and tell the attendant you plan to eat at the quick service restaurant?

Technically you are supposed to drive away when you are finished with activities at that resort. Administratively it has been easier to issue 3 hour parking passes at times the resort is likely to be crowded.

Simply tell the parking attendant briefly what you plan to do, such as "just visiting," or "having lunch at the restaurant."

At some times you might just be told to park and enjoy yourself.
At some times you may be given the 3 hour pass.
At some times you may have to have a restaurant reservation to park.
At some times you may only use their valet* parking service.
At some times you may be turned away point blank.

* Valet parking is not timed unless the valet himself tells you so as he meets you.

Thanks for your reply. Wow, I guess I can't count on consistency, huh? I'm visiting in September, hopefully that makes a difference (?).
