I know a number of people live in the NY area, we are going to be flying out in March from JFK. I've found a long term parking place called AviStar there that charges $10 a day and free shuttle to the airport. Does anyone have any experience with them? is there a better spot to be parking?

Thanks

I just used them for my trip in December. No problems, :cool1: :cool1: I had a coupon and 9 days came to less that 100 with tax. I would use them again . ou can go to the website and sign up for the VIP plan free for the 1st year.

We always use Avistar-never a problem. Check theeir website for discount coupons.

Go to www.airportparkingreservations.com. You enter the airport and dates and it will bring up all lots around JFK. Just used them last week. Paid $8.26/day for lot 1 mile from Newark airport. You pay 1st day + 4.00 service fee. Balance is paid when you pick up your car.

Avistar was great! I sometims fly to WDW alone, to meet friends down there. I like to take a later flight home, and I land at JFK around 9, 9:30. No WAY I am going out to long term parking alone after dark, that late. (I have been out there, it is deserted and very creepy!) You call Avistar while waiting for your luggage. They pick you up outside, and when you get to the lot, your car is already running and warmed up! Awesome. This time I signed up for their club thing, where my credit card info is all in there already. I think then I do not have to wait on the short line, I can just leave.

Also, if you are a AAA member be sure to show your card for another discount...atleast they offer it for the LGA and BDL locations. Its not much but you do say a buck or two each day. Have Fun!
