Please can any one tell me how much is it to park everyday at the WDW Dolphin??????????

Hi

I asked Disney direct and here's the response

My question
"I will be visiting Walt Disney Word in Orlando from Scotland, in a few
weeks and will be staying off site. I want to experience the resorts in
WDW so will be visiting (when not in the theme parks) and I have a
couple of questions
Is there a parking charge at the resorts (e.g. Boardwalk, Swan/Dolphin)?"

Disney Response
"Please know that there is no charge for parking at any of our hotels."

Hope this helps

Whenever I've stayed onsite in timeshare accommodation, eg Old Key West, I've had to pay a 'resort services fee' which includes parking everywhere in Disney, including at the parks.
You can drive into the hotels to visit but you need a good reason, like going to the restaurant or shop, and photo ID.

The Dolphin is not a Disney owned hotel and do charge for parking.

I think the daily rate is $9 plus tax and the overnight rate is $16 plus tax.

You do get free parking at the parks though - just show your room key at the car parks.

The day charge for the Swan/Dolphin is listed as $9 plus tax for each exit :scared1:

I'm sure you only have to pay once per day or that would be extortionate!

Tim if you look here at point 5 it does say each exit for day parking but no mention of it for overnight parking.

what if you leave your car in the boardwalk carpark then go to the swan/dolphin, is this possible? we have never been charged for using this carpark, only had to show ID

You can walk to the Swan/Dolphin from the Boardwalk easily.

I'm sure they put a time limit on non-residents parking at the resorts (to stop people trying to get our of paying the park parking charges :) ).

Yes the time limit is usually 3 hours, enough to allow a leisurely meal.

When we stopped at the dolphin, we paid a resort charge of around $9 per day which included car parking, entrance to the Gym and a newspaper. It was just a single payment and didn't matter how many times we went in or out. We didn't pay for themepark parking after that either.

From July 28th 2005 there is no longer a resort fee at the Dolphin. You get the newspaper free now!
