My question
"I will be visiting Walt Disney Word in Orlando from Scotland, in a few
weeks and will be staying off site. I want to experience the resorts in
WDW so will be visiting (when not in the theme parks) and I have a
couple of questions
Is there a parking charge at the resorts (e.g. Boardwalk, Swan/Dolphin)?"
Disney Response "Please know that there is no charge for parking at any of our hotels."
Whenever I've stayed onsite in timeshare accommodation, eg Old Key West, I've had to pay a 'resort services fee' which includes parking everywhere in Disney, including at the parks.
You can drive into the hotels to visit but you need a good reason, like going to the restaurant or shop, and photo ID.
what if you leave your car in the boardwalk carpark then go to the swan/dolphin, is this possible? we have never been charged for using this carpark, only had to show ID

When we stopped at the dolphin, we paid a resort charge of around $9 per day which included car parking, entrance to the Gym and a newspaper. It was just a single payment and didn't matter how many times we went in or out. We didn't pay for themepark parking after that either.
