Pool hopping is currently suspended, so OP needs to confirm that it has restarted before depending on that as a reason to be allowed to park. Taking the Skyliner from DHS or the bus from DS, MK or AK is the most reliable way to get to BW currently. People have been turned away even when they had a mobile order at the Boardwalk Bakery, when it was around DHS or Epcot opening time.
Really? How does anyone go to dinner at these places, or other hotels for that matter? I have friends in FL. that go out to dinner a couple times a month at different hotels now that more restaurants are open, I wonder how they park?
They probably make an ADR for the restaurant they plan to visit. I doubt they are driving to go to a quick service, LOL. AFAIK, people are not being turned away if they have an ADR.
There has been no confirmation of Flying Fish opening in September, but I hope it's true for our October trip.
Atlantic dance was historically empty unless there was a convention going on there. The parking lot can barely accommodate the BW resort guests so they cannot allow others to park just to visit the boardwalk. Since the skyline has been put in the boardwalk has gotten substantially busier. I think that will also help to support all boardwalk businesses, jellyrolls and atlantic dance included
Pool hopping has been suspended since reopening last summer. It hasn't been reinstated.
I think pool hopping will be something that is permanently suspended, unless resorts are at low occupancy, which has not been that common since they have been converting portions of low occupancy hotels to dvc. But even with pool hopping you could not drive there
I think it is true. On the most recent DIS Dining Review Show, a waitress told Pete W that the current chef at Trattoria al Forno (Tim Majoris) was leaving to go back to Flying Fish in September. Watch for yourself. The relevant comments are at about 3:35, at 8:10 and again about 20:35 minutes in.
