parking at DCA during christmas week

Approx What time does the parking garage open ? is it 2 hours prior to the DL opening? we are going Dec 27-30, which parking lot is best to use? Mickey and Friends? if so, do you arrive early, prior to parking opening and wait in line to enter the garage? and if so, what time do you suggest we arrive?

Mickey and Friends opens 30 minutes before early entry starts (so 90 minutes before the parks officially open). Toy Story doesn’t open until an hour (or even a little less) before the park opens.

On those dates, there will be lines when the lots open at 6:30/7:00. If you’re using a Magic Morning, I’d try to be in the M&F parking line by 6, honestly, so you have a shot at being one of the first ones in and getting to the parks in time to use your Magic Morning.

Any chance at using Uber or Lyft instead of parking?

On one of our 7:00 MM days, my husband dropped off my DD and me in DTD around 6:15, then got in line to park and we got in line at the gates, where he joined us.
