We're staying at CBR and doing Pirates and Pals so is probably faster to drive to CR than bus to MK.
How easy is it to park there as a visitor?
How long can we stay in our spot?
I was hoping to arrive about 6pm, ride the monorail for fun, eat QS, and then we probably won't be back from Pirates and Pals till 10:30-11.
Will I risk having our car ticketed or towed?

They have a 3 hour limit, unless you pay to valet park. Or you could park at the TTC and ride the monorail from there to the Contemporary.

How is the 3 hour limit enforced?

Maybe I'm better off bussing to MK and walking I just worry it'll be a long/late trip back after the cruise...

Contemporary parking can be dicey, because they don't want vehicles taking parking spaces that are for hotel, BLT, convention and dining guests. We dine at California Grill practically every time we are there, and often our reservation is on file at the hotel vehicle entrance gate, so the guards can look up our name to verify we are dining there.

So, if you have concerns, park at the TTC as maxiesmom suggests or bus over.

If I decided to pay for valet would that be fine with the CR?
We have a reservation for Pirates and Pals but whole evening will probably be longer than 3 hours.
Valet would probably be the easiest option.
And I wouldn't have to worry about possibly missing last bus from MK since fireworks and park close are 10pm right now and we may not get to MK after cruise till 11. They tend to go till an hour after close right?

Parking at the TTC till soon after park close seems like it could be a madhouse. And how long after park close does the monorail run from CR to TTC?

Because the Pirates and Pals cruise leaves from the Contemporary, you are allowed to park there until your event is over. They will have your name listed at the gate so that you do not get towed. If you want to have a meal before, you would probably be allowed to park a bit early.
If you have an actual ADR you may, of course park at the resort prior to your ADR, (maybe eat at the Wave?). Make sure the gate CM is aware you are doing both...

If you're there for an event that leaves from the CR, there's no worries about towing. They expect you'll be there until the event is over. The problem is with people who dine at CR, or have an event at CR, and then leave their car in the lot and head over to MK for hours.

If you do want to take the bus, and happen to miss the last bus from MK, there's always a cab or Uber. Or, just walk back to the CR (it's right across the street from the MK bus depot) and get a bus to Disney Springs, where you can get the bus back to CBR.

Ok that's good to know. Thanks!

If you want to ride the monorail anyway, why wouldn't you just park at the TTC?

I want to ride the monorail before the cruise but after I want to get back ASAP because will have a 3 year old with me.
Parking at TTC seems like would add a bit more time and hassle and sounds like I should be good to park at CR so may just do that.
