If we park at Boardwalk to eat dinner at Spoodles, but are not staying there this time, how long will they let us park. And if we go over the alloted time, what will they do? thanks.

First, BoardWalk has two lots. The large main one in front of the resort and another fairly large overflow lot across a street. For that overflow lot there are no limitations as there is no gate or guard to go through. For the main lot, they do not put time limits; however, a sign outside says it is not to be used for a guest going to Epcot or MGM and they often ask at the gate to determine whether you are going to BoardWalk for the purpose of being at the boardwalk. They check more often and are far more circumspect about a person's intent if the person is trying to get in during the morning, when there are no boardwalk activities going on, rather than the evening when there are. In other words as long as you are going to Spoddles and then sticking around for BoardWalk activities and night life you will find there is no time limit.

This is a problem with the BWV and there have been posts about the parking situation. One way to avoid the parking problem is valet park, if you are a non member you will pay a fee and it is free to members. By doing so, you will not take up anyones parking spot that is staying at BWV. That is what I do when I park there as well as when I park at WLV. It just solves the parking problems. What my also help with BWV is if at all possible the people staying there valet park also if at all possible.
