Parking at Beach Club

On our next trip we will be having breakfast at the Beach Club and then would like to go to Epcot. Is there anywhere you can park and leave the car all day so you can go in the back entrance of Epcot (The International Gateway)? We want to do World Showcase after breakfast and don't really want to have to hoof it across the entire park. Any suggestions?

The only way to do this (assuming you are not staying at the BC) is to valet park your car at the BC. Of course, you'll have to pay for that and if you add in a tip, you end up paying more for this "convenience" than if you drove to Epcot and parked there ($7).

If you are not a guest at the BC, you'll be given a 3 hour pass to put on your dashboard. This is designed to ensure there is enough parking available for guests of the BC -- otherwise, the lot would fill up with folks doing what you've asked about. (There are stories about cars being towed ... I've never seen that happen at BC, but then I've never spent my vacation scoping out the parking lot!)

My recommendation would be drive to BC, park, enjoy breakfast, and then drive over to Epcot. The exercise will do everyone good.

Last year, I parked in the Yacht Club, and went over to Epcot. No pass was given, but maybe things have changed.

You will be given a 3 hour pass if dining at one of the restaurants. As previously posted, they have a time limit so that there is not a parking shortage for guests of that particular resort.

Thanks :-) I'm not trying to take guests spaces - just never been over to that area and didn't know if there was a way I could walk around, explore, and then pop in at Epcot. I knew Boardwalk was over that way too and with all their activities thought there might be more of a "public" lot. We actually have APs so don't have to pay parking anyway - definitely won't be paying valet.

There is a public lot for the Boardwalk. However, it is intended for those visiting the Boardwalk establishments and guests of the BWI/BWV resorts (not parking for EPCOT or MGM). In the morning, the security guards often turn people away or direct them to a lot across the street because very little is open early on the Boardwalk. The lot across the steet is actually quite a long walk if your destination is EPCOT.

Self-parking for BWI/BWV resort guests is often a challenge to find in the later afternoon/early evening due to all those who use the BW lot to go to EPCOT. We often stay at the BWV and are amazed at the large number of cars leaving right after Illuminations. Kind of depressing - especially those times we couldn't find a self-parking spot and had to valet park.

Just FYI.

Enjoy the breakfast at the BC.
