We will be staying off site and driving to the parks. We plan on park hopping on several days. Will we have to pay multiple parking fees on each day or can we show our stub from the first park visited on that day?

As always, thanks for your help.

You will only have to pay for parking 1 time, when you enter the first park...........:sunny: Just show your parking stub when you enter the next parking lot.:wave2:

What we did was choose the park that was staying open the latest, park there. Then simply use Disney's Transportation the rest of the day. Why waste time parking, unparking, parking again. Especially if it does get busy, and they close the lots down...But that is up to you.

Just think it is a waste of time moving the car more then once at Disney.

Good point, Larry. This is our first time staying off property so we're new at this this.

While I like your suggestion, I am concerned about the additional time that would be needed to park in the morning in the "later" park and then get to another park for park opening. So, what do you all think about parking at the TTC or Downtown Disney as our base?

Parking at TTC is the best idea. Parking at Downtown Disney is free, but they do not offer direct Disney transportation from DTD to the parks, only to WDW resorts. So, you'd end up saving a few bucks, but wasting tons of time riding to a resort and waiting for a bus to the park.

When you park at MK, you are effectively parking at the TTC, correct?

How beneficial is the AAA diamond pass at the TTC?

Park at TTC. Then you'll be able to monorail back and forth to Epcot. You can walk or boat between Epcot and MGM. I always hated parking and reparking.

Are there buses from the TTC to AK? There is one morning we will spend a couple of hours at AK and then go to either MGM or EPCOT. If there aren't buses from the TTC to AK, what are your suggestions for transportation?

Thanks :D

AK closes a lot earlier than MGM or Epcot so it might be hard to get a bus/tram back there where you parked. I've never waited for a tram to the parking lots more than a few minutes. TTC buses to the other parks seem to run every 20-30 minutes.

I would drive to park hop (except MK and Epcot)

The AAA lot at MK is at the front of the lot near handicap parking. HOWEVER, it is not serviced by the tram, so either you would have to walk over to a tram stop (which is the last stop before the tram goes back to the TTC) or just walk to the TTC.

Yes there is a bus between the TTC and AK. There are dedicated busses between each park except between MK and Epcot (which has the monorail).

We're exactly the opposite. We find it more time consuming (and irritating) to wait for the buses. Also, in our experience, the buses tend to be very crowded. One time, we waited 20 minutes for a bus from DS to MK, only to have to wait for the next bus to come, because the first one was full. Granted, we have never had to deal with the closed parking situation, because we don't go during the busiest times, but we have been during Presidents' Week, Spring Break, and the first weekend in August, with no problems parking.

I guess it just depends on your personal preferences. ::yes::

I personally thinks its much quicker to move your car. Also we keep a cooler in the boot ( sorry trunk) for cold drinks whenever we return to the car.
