Has anyone everyone stayed at the Park Vue Inn? We are thinking about staying there just because for the free stuff they give like parking and the breakfast and they have a cold stone! But we just wanted to get some reviews on the place before we for sure booked it for our trip. Thanks in advanced!
:dance3:

This place is my favorite place to stay. We have been going there for about eight years now,we go every few months, we even loved it before it got remodeled, now the rooms are nicer. The front desk staff have always been pleasant and the housekeeping are helpful and nice. We have never eaten their breakfast because we sleep in so i cant comment on that. And we don't care for ice cream, so the coldstone being there makes no difference to us. This is my first choice for off-property......

The coldstone is AWESOME, I ate there in October. I heard they deliver to your room :D

I'm staying there for the first time this October

Friends of mine just got back from staying here. They said it was updated so it was nice and clean and comfy, but just a basic place to stay. The free parking definitely was a perk. They would stay again. Anyone on here can tell you as well that the location really cant be beat.

The rates for this hotel seem a bit on the high side. They're also not on getawaytoday. Any tips on how to get good rates w/ them?

We have staid at most of the hotels across the street and I like the Park Vue the best. Nice clean rooms and a nice free breakfast. Super close to the crosswalk. We are heading down tomorrow and was unable to stay there and I am bummed out.
We loved the Park Vue. :goodvibes

great! I think we are going to go with them then. There is the free parking then they said there is a special rate if you are celebrating something and some free stuff to go along with it.

And since it's across the street that is good. We were going to go with the Castle Inn since they were going to give us a room for $90 a night but no free breakfast.......and I'm all about saving as much money as I can while I'm at the parks. Since we are going to be driving there now I think this hotel will work best for us.

I totally get what you mean about saving as much money as you can. If you want a great tip on saving money, even though this is totally off hotel topic, bring in your own bottle of water or little Cool aid, or Ice Tea packages for single servings. Go to any food counter and ask for ice water. Its free and you have a free cold tasty drink. Besides purchasing souvenirs, drinks are going to be what is going to getcha in the parks. You can pay more for 2 or 3 drinks during the day for yourself then you would going out to eat.

I budget myself the same food and spending money allowances each trip, and I found the last 2 trips by doing this I easily saved myself a good $50 or more for the week.

Good Luck!

We stayed at the Park Vue at the beginning of March, and I loved it. We would definitely stay there again. They leave a little welcome basket of fruit, bottled water, and wine or sparkling juice, which was kind of cute. The free breakfast is AWESOME. We saved a ton of money by making sure the kids ate a good breakfast at the hotel. The breakfast included oatmeal, waffles, cereal, eggs, yogurt, sausage or bacon, bagels and cream cheese, fresh fruit, etc. I also loved that they didn't charge for anything extra - the wifi was free, parking was free, etc. Another really nice thing for us was the room layout - we had a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. Much, much better option than trying to make the kids share a bed. And the hotel is SO close to the crosswalk. The Park Vue and the Best Western PPI are the absolute closest. You'll love it!

I've been staying at Park Vue Inn 3-4 times a year for the last 9 years or so. You just can't beet the location! Everyone else has already mentioned most of the pluses. The only other thing I can think of is that there is a computer in the lobby that you can use for free and the staff will print your boarding passes for you if you're flying. Not all hotels will do that for you. Their prices have been inching up the last few years though. I heard they just recently added omelets and fresh made waffles to the free breakfast. I'd rather they not improve on the free breakfast and keep the rates down!

Yes their prices have gone up significantly since we first started staying there. I remember the first time we stayed there we got a room for $45 a night!!!! recently we have been paying anywhere from $100-$120 a night...

Wow! I wish we could go back to the days of $45 for a hotel room! Thanks for the tip with the water bottle. We normally bring a bottle with us. Are the rooms normally loud? I'm not 100% worried about it but it'd be nice to know. I've read reviews of some hotels in the area having paper thin walls.

Stayed there in December, and loved it. Going back next week! As for noise, nothing unbearable. Could hear when the downstairs neighbors woke up and ran the shower, but I expect that in a hotel.:)
