So what I posted (in my post #36 above) was misleading thanks to wrong info given to me from the cast member. I believe the cast member I spoke to DID verify that my tickets were prioritized correctly while he was fooling around on his computer behind the desk... and his suggestion that I use my physical card to enter the parks was was harmless but perhaps moot. I am going to edit my post to note this.
I too am a supporter of technology but I can't believe how screwed up Disney's behind-the-scenes stuff still is. These are big issues! And yet, Disney is all over the news due to their recent attempts to cut costs on IT cast members. And then, when people call to try to resolve their issues, their customer service system is almost totally broken. GOOD GRIEF!!!
