This spring break we'll be going back to the parks for our second trip - the first time with FP+. What are your favorite time killers for each park when you are waiting 30 minutes to an hour for a Fastpass time? Something that doesn't take a lot of time, or a ride that doesn't really ever have much of a line?

The People Mover? Animation Academy?
Thanks in advance! :flower1:

Living in the moment. What ever is around us. Window shopping, some small detail that we haven't seen before. Talking to other people. Spinning in circles. Singing. People watching. Dancing. Grabbing a snack.

I'm not sure what your looking for. wdw is a vast place. Ride times change all the time.

All Parks: PhotoPass photographers!

MK: Carousel of Progress, Transit Authority PeopleMover, PhilharMagic
Epcot: Figment (Don't waste your time with Captain EO!), Club Cool
DHS: Muppet Vision 3D
AK: Pangani Forest Exploration, Tough to be a Bug, Animal Exhibits

Lat year at Spring Break, the laugh floor never really had a long wait and was always a 5-15 min wait. It does seem like tommorrowland has a lot of attractions that have short wait time such as Peoplemover and Carousel of progress. You could also walk around and see if you can catch any shows like the pirate show they do in adventure land or watch character meet and greets without waiting in the line like Gaston and the stepsisters in Fantasyland.

Also, if you find that you are killing time waiting to use a FP, you can try to move your return time up. Depending on the attraction, some will have almost immediate availability. For us, Mickey Bars, rest room breaks and sitting on a bench watching the World go by while munching on pop corn are easy ways to burn 30 minutes.

The Animation Academy had an hour+ wait the last time we were there, which was during a moderate crowd time.

In the MK, our favorite time filler is Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom.

MK
Country Bear Jamboree
Pirate Adventure (best at dusk or later)
Playground by BTMRR
Haircut at the Barbershop

AK
Boneyard!
Train

HS
Green Army Men
Lightning McQuenn and Mater

Whether you're trying to kill time between FP's or not, try finding Mulch, Sweat and Shears at HS. Their set schedule is in the times guide and they're awesome :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 You can hang out and watch/listen to them as long as you want, and then move on to your FP or next thing - unless they pick you to play cowbell or sing with them. Then you kind of have to stick around till the end of the song ::yes:::bitelip:

How much time, in an average day, are you able to kill by spinning in circles? If we have 17 minutes before our next FP+ window opens, should we spin in circles the entire time?

lauradis - I get what you meant by spinning in circles. Embrace your inner childhood by spending time spinning in circles, with your arms spread wide out, without a care in the world - figuratively or literally. Live in the moment, even when waiting for 17 minutes to pass.

At MK:
The Monster's Inc Laugh Academy
Philharmagic (depending on when the next show starts)
One of the interactive games (Sorcerer's or Pirates)

Epcot: We filled in time at Innoventions - the kids found some video games there and we also did Sum of All Thrills.

AK: Boneyard, walk one of the trails (lots of diversionary activities here).

DHS: Star Tours (was only a 10 minute wait when we were there), the HISK playground, Muppet show.

MK: Playground inside Dumbo.
Epcot: any of the countries in WS.
AK: Any of the animal trails
DHS: HISK playground, Muppet show.

If you schedule your FP+ back to back and go to one right away, then the next at the latest possible that gives you a good hour+ in between.

Epcot... Phineas and ferb!!!!! Innoventions, shows

Mk... pictures, people mover, whatever is close

See, in our family "living in the moment" would mean making fun of the weirdos who are spinning around with their arms spread wide out, but that's what is so great about WDW: something for everyone.

We wouldn't notice your negativity anyway!
