Hi

We have 3 days to spend in wdw. do you think it would be better to get the park hopper or the basic ticket for one park a day?

thanks

Well, I think the answer is "it depends". If you have little ones, I'd say don't try and do it commando. Maybe hit the early entry park, go back to the hotel and then try and get in a nice meal and the evening entertainment, such as Wishes in MK or Illuminations. In that case, you would need the hopping option.

We did not buy the hopping option our last trip and didn't regret it. We had four days - four parks and planned accordingly.

I would say get the hopping because if you don't, you'll miss a park. If, however, you know you can live without one park, it is very doable to just do one park/one day.

For me, the decision would be based on how much you've been to WDW in the past. I could see spending a three-day vacation at just one of the theme parks (not that that's necessary -- I'm just making a point), knowing that on our "next trip" we'll split six or seven days over the remaining three parks. If this is your only foreseeable trip to WDW, then definitely get park hoppers.
