Park Tickets

Hi all,

This is my first post - glad I found this forum, it looks like it's really useful.

Just booked my 2nd trip to WDW this morning, going in September so not long now. I was last there in 2001 and although we pre booked our park tickets then, we noticed a lot of stalls etc. selling them cheaper than we paid in the UK.

My question-are these stalls still there, anyone know any recent pricing for them, and are they reputable (ie proper tickets).

Other than that, does anyone know of any cheap places on line that I can order them?

I'm looking really for a 5day WDW ticket, and also 2 day Universal or maybe a Flex Ticket.

Any help would be appreciated,

Never have bought tickets from the booths, no real reason just felt in some cases its too good to be true. Someone will along to tell you whether they are a good outlet.

The most popular place that people buy their tickets from is ticketmania. They are based in florida and unless they have changed it shop free to the uk. They have a fantastic reputation and I think they are very good on price. www.ticketmania.com

Rather than the 5 day ticket for WDW have you considered the 10 day world pass, not much differance in price,but has added bonus's, you get disney quest free, free character breakfast,or free meal, and obviously the option of 10 days rather than 5!!!.

Virgin are selling at £189,disney stores £199.

Cant help with the ticket booth question,but Im sure the majority on here will tell you there is a catch,we did see lots of these whilst we were out there last,personally I use ticketmania ,tickets were here within 5 days(not vouchers), I would be alittle weary of ticket booths personally.

Don't know about the booth's - but I don't think I would try it, we used Ticketmania and got our Universal & Seaworld passes direct from there sites. Best to shop around first to get yourself the best deal.

I tend to agree with Jules - check out the 10 day pass, it's a great deal especially when you factor in the character meals.

Personally I wouldn' tuse the booths - there is just no way of knowing what you are buying. A guy at our hotel in a booth offered to buy our partially used Univeral tickets, so he could sell them on. We didn't take him up on the deal, but he had no way of knowing how many days we had left on them, so he couldn't really guarantee them when he sold them on to someone else. it's just far to risky for the money involved - I would be terrified everytime I tried to use them

Be very careful of these booths, some people have bought from them, find themselves on the end of a hard sell about time share, or even worse, find they have been sold out of date tickets .

Reputable agencies that only sell tickets are fine, but these booths in some of the fast food places etc. should be treated with caution.

I'm kind of glad everyone thinks I should steer away from the booths, as I was a bit wary already.

I'll have a look around on ticketmania and others and see what deals I can find - thanks for the heads up on the 10 day pass.

Has anybody used www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk ? They seem quite reasonable, and have the advantage of charging in pounds.

I have just received my tickets from Attraction Tickets Direct this morning. I have ordered 5 day park hopper plus and 2 day Universal with 5 free days. I did have to wait 10 days after payment before receiving my tickets but this was because they were out of stock of Universal Tickets. Other than that I had no problems.

The last time we were there,2001, I got talking to a bloke in one of the booths and he said he knew a cleaner at a hotel and when guests leave, sometimes they leave tickets behind, so they scan them to see if there are any days left on them. Maybe some cleaners make extra bucks this way!

We are using www.americanspecialists.co.uk for our park tickets my FIL & MIL had there holiday and park tickets booked through them and no problems tickets come in plenty of time for their holiday

I've just ordered our 5 day Hopper Plus tickets from Attraction Tickets Direct - special deal for £169 until end of July. That's the best deal I've found so I'm a happy bunny

I ended up doing the same Mrs.Dazzle. The tickets came recorded delivery 2 days after ordering, so all in all a great service.

Our tickets arrived, recorded delivery, this morning - superb service from Attraction Tickets Direct.

One thing I forgot to mention is that you can "reserve" your tickets when you book them and pay nearer the time (just have to leave a deposit), so anyone budgetting this may be useful.

I paid up front (or my very nice credit card did ) and real, proper tickets arrived like Sebastian, 2 days after ordering

I wouldn't feel happy using the booths. We bought our tickets last year from Virgin travelstore. This year they are selling 10 day passes for £189 (need to buy before 31st July and use by end of Oct.) Also they have Universal tickets on offer - buy the two day ticket for universal and you can visit 7 days. They usually have quite a few offers on attraction tickets. Have a great holiday

I am trying to book tickets for xmas this year, and am trying to find out, is a single day ticket bought on the gate at WDW valid for park hopping????
