Which restaurants in the DL parks are not to be missed? Is there a link to the menus?

We just got back last week, so my favorites are still fresh....

Bengal Barbecue in Adventureland. We LOVED it! It is a small area with little to no seating that has great chicken kabobs and wonderful grilled veggies. Also, the cinnamon snake is great!

Blue Bayou in New Orleans Square. My first Monte Cristo. Absolutely wonderful.....also, to really make a meal (and clog your arteries) add the deep fried cheesecake.

Storytellers for breakfast at the Grand Californian. Great food options in a beautiful atomosphere!

The Vineyard Room Patio at DCA. There is an expensive and inexpensive side...we ate at the inexpensive side that had great panini style sandwiches, very reasonably priced.

Pacific Wharf (DCA) and the French Market (DLR) both have great soups in sourdough bowls. You can also get eggs and bacon in a bread bowl for breakfast at DCA.

We didn't hit any DD restaurants, but they looked good! www.mouseplanet.com has menus and I think www.disneylandsource.com has some, too.

Hope this helps!

Cindy, at www.colddeadfish.net , has WONDERFUL reviews of most of the eateries around the park.

We love Redd Rocket Pizza Port for the Oriental Salad and Chicken Fussil. These are very large and about 15.00 for the two. They always fill up two adults and one child. yummy

I also like the grilled veggies at Bengal BBQ. They were filling and tender. Great for a non grease meal.

We like White Water Snacks for an inexpensive good meal. It is the pool snack shop at the Grand Californian Hotel. The kids meal chicken fingers is 4.99 and is three large white meat chicken fingers, basket of fries and a drink. It leaves just enough room for an icecream bar afterwards. :p

Plaza Inn has a really good Chicken dinner. For 10.xx you get three pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans and a roll. They also have a chicken kids meal that filled me up last time. It was a chicken leg, mashed potatoes, apple sauce, drink and a roll for 5.xx I personally think that is the most nutritious kids meal in the park. It's the only one I found that offers fruit.

I found the meals in the park to be rather large. When I traveled alone with my two girls I would just get two kids meals, one for them to share and one for me.

The Corndogs from the little cart near the hub are WONDERFUL.

MMMMMMMM, so much to eat and so little time.
;)

I little tip, though...don't get the breakfast at Pacific Wharf in DCA. The eggs are just crumbled up yokes from hard-boiled eggs and the bacon is of the microwave variety. (And crispier than a piece of glass.)

It was one of the only meals that I have ever returned for my money back.

Roy

BTW - I agree with Sonya...the Chicken Fuselli (sp?) at Redd Rockets is really good. Maybe one of the best dishes in the whole DLR area. (and all for $7.95!)
