Hi when we are at CAA (AAA) travel they had a thing if you booked before feb. something you got a mug you can use in the parks everyday of your trip which you can refill 5 times a day... does anyone know if any of the Disney parks sell refillable mugs or is this just something you had get thru the travel place?

Sorry, no. There are no refillable mugs in the theme parks. (There are, however, refillable mugs available in the water parks.)

Not in the parks but you can buy a refillable mug if you are staying at a Disney Resort which allows you to refill at the food court for the length of your stay.

However, not every resort has a food court. Where you refill your mug at your resort will vary from resort-to-resort.

Well, not every resort has a "food court" in the mall sense of the word, but every resort that offers the refill mugs has some place to refill them, obviously.

WL and Poly don't have "food courts" in the sense that some of the moderates have large and diverse food courts. But both the WL and Poly are having their quick service areas refurbished, so maybe they'll be more like food courts there when they're done.

BC really has no food court as well, although it does have a place to refill mugs, and they can also be refilled at Hurricane Hanna's.

But back to the OP's question: there are no refillable mug programs for the parks. I wish there was one.

Thanks for the reply. Although I will probably never stay at a Deluxe :guilty: it's good to know that some don't have food courts such as the moderates do.

At the BoardWalk, refillable mugs are refilled at the bakery.

You beat me to it - AK does have a refillable mug, BUT - it isn't a free refill ($.59 - I think?) and it's a BIG mug. I don't think you'd want to refill it enough times to make it worthwhile. Plus, it's a big bulky mug that you'd have to carry with you all day. Drinking all that soda isn't healthy either, IMHO.

A much better idea is to get a case of bottled water, and bring a few with you each day - but only if you have the big pockets to carry them (like on men's khaki shorts) or a stroller.

all of the other parks like Universal and Busch Gardens/Seaworld have refillable mug programs. you can get a strap that will fit the AK mug as well and carry it around on your shoulder. the best thing is they'll fill it full of ice water at no charge anywhere in AK, so you don't have to drink soda all day long. they're Lion King themed now, and make a nice souvenir.

I'd love to see Disney start a program where a mug purchase would be tied to your MYW tix, and would be good for the length of those tix. You'd carry one mug and it would work in all 4 WDW parks. Allow water, soft drinks and maybe a Kool Aid type of drink. WDW surely realizes the enormous profit margin on their park soft drink sales as they are now, so such a program may not be forthcoming very soon. But if it was tied to MYW, that would be a slight incentive for people to buy longer MYW tix: to get more value for those initially expensive mugs.

with WDW paying less than a dime for every bottle of soda and water they sell at over $2.00, I doubt they'll ever try anything like that plan. I appreciate the fact that UO and the AB parks offer it.
