Park Pass Reservation won't let me book my party together????

Ok, the scenario is today is my party's 60 day window to book dining, which I have spent today doing. However, the availability of reservations has led to us slightly altering our park days. My party consists of 3 Adults, 2 of whom are on Annual Passes, 1 is on a standard park hopper. I had previously booked us park reservations through the Park Pass system without issue; we were all grouped together on the reservation and it appeared as a single reservation in the app.

However, the days I altered today, the system will not allow me to book my party together. We are in a Disney hotel, with two rooms. When booking park passes, it will only group the two adults with APs together and the one with a hopper separately, and now shows in the app as two separate reservations. Does anyone have experience with this yet?

Obviously, we will all still get into the park. My main concern naturally comes in with activities that we need to book via the app, I.e. virtual queue for Remy's at Epcot. I would assume once Genie+ launches this may have a similar effect. Am I still going to be able to manage my WHOLE party's reservations and keep us together? Is the way the app is displaying going to complicate everything? Does anyone have experience with this?

Currently on hold with Disney support, but we all know how that goes. TIA!

I’m assuming your effected reservations have yet to come up?
They haven’t, we go next week. I didn’t think much of it other than it was annoying to have to first reserve myself (AP holder) and then go through the process again for the rest of my party. I assume it’s because there are different rules for AP holders and reserving days. I don’t expect it to have any other effects in our planning.

My gut assumption is the same. Was just curious if anyone has run into to yet, because I’d really hate to find out at the last minute when we’re down there.

If your main concern is boarding passes, I’m pretty confident you can make them for the whole group even if some are AP and some aren’t.

Yes, this happened to me last month. I had added my nephew and family and my brother and sil to my friends and family, so their park reservations all transferred and it showed as 7 reservations for Epcot as an example. I then changed one of our days, and it then showed 1AP res, 2 Hotel res, and 4 Theme Park Ticket res on my account. Everything else was still fine. All dining was still together and such, and I still got Rise for everyone when it was still VQ. It just looked odd on MDE.

Guests who show up as different type of tickets, will all show up for making Boarding Groups.

My Dad and friend have done CM + Regular ticket, CM + AP. They show up in MDE as separate park reservations, and had to booked separately. But everyone shows up correctly for BGs. For Ratatouille they had additional friends so it was CM + AP + Regular ticket.

Thank you both, I appreciate the first hand experience. That helps tremendously!

Maybe wait for the overnight refresh. This used to happen a lot with fast passes when I tried to modify one or two to be together.

Book your AP people together for park reservations and book your regular ticket people separately. Ticket type doesn't matter for other things.

Yep. That's how it is for me (booked alone) and my husband and son (booked together) as I am a Passholder and they are not (yet). That happened as they released Passes for purchase again. I don't think there's any reason to worry. As long as everyone has a reservation, that's what matters.
