Park pass question?

I was pricing out tickets last night and was wondering if you bought a 5 day pass that wasn’t a pass hopper and you went to 2 different parks on the same day, would that use up 2 of your 5 day pass?

The reason why I am asking is because the cost for a 10 day Pass is $210 cheaper then if I was to get a 5 day park hopper passes for my family
.
I know we probably wouldn’t to 2 parks in a day, but I would like to leave a wee bit of room if we decide to hop from one park to another 1 out of the 7 days we are down there, and even then, we wouldn’t be going to the parks all 7 days.

I was thinking of 5 days in the park, but purchasing 7 day passes for the family. Let me know what you all think, and yes, we are planning on pulling our Trailer to the Fort.

Thanks :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

Nope, the computer will not allow it!! If you do not purchase the park hopping option and attempt to enter a 2nd park on the same day, the ticket will get kicked back out and will not allow entry.

This has been asked from the very first day that the MYW tickets were released and the answer has always been NO!!

Just verifying what Carol said. If you try to enter a second park - no matter how many days you have left on your ticket - you will be denied entry.

Wow, me too. I always thought that you could do 2 different parks on the same day, but if you didn't have the park hopper option on your ticket, the second park would count as an additional "day".

Did that make sense?

Thanks Al - I knew if anyone did, it would be you :lmao:

If you will be going to Disney more than one time in a year's time, you should consider doing what we have done for the past 2 years.

We buy our tickets from mousesavers(through the newsletter link-it's cheaper) and they are always cheaper than anyone I have found on the internet and definitely cheaper than Disney. Disney's price doesn't include tax until you go to check-out.

One option if you don't plan to go back anytime soon...

My mom and sister purchased the buy 5 get 2 free for a 7 day(5 full days at WDW) trip. The day we got there it was late but they used one day just to go see the fireworks at MK for a couple of hours. They went home with a day left, but lost no money by doing this.

We have priced it so many ways and have come up with this as the best deal for our family of four...

We make 2 trips a year(this will be the last year to do this for awhile though:sad1:) and purchase 10 day park hoppers with no expiration.

We exchange them at guest relations at the park for AP's. Disney gives us credit for the gate price for our ticket, which is significantly higher than what we payed and applies that amount toward the AP. The AP is actually cheaper than the 10 day ticket. In November we got back $94!!!:goodvibes

A HUGE plus to this is getting the AP rate for campsites. We also purchase our souvenirs at World of Disney at DTD and save 10%. When we play mini golf it is half price!:cheer2:

We have saved sooooo much money!

With a little more work, I think we may be able to figure out a way to get Disney to pay you to go to their parks!
