Park Opening Times

In the past when I've been to DW in the summer months, the parks have always opened significantly before their 'officially posted' hour. Is this still the case? What about closing times?

cpl100...if you're leaving tomorrow, you should be sleeping!!!!

What we noticed during spring break (late march/early April 2003) was that they did not open up the parks any earlier than the posted times. As for the times the parks closed, we did not experience any spontaneous extension of hours (same day), though there were a few days the MK could have used it. Hopefully, someone who's been there during this summer can give you an answer.

One way to get into the parks a little early is to make a Priority Seating for character breakfasts in the park. If you are staying at a Disney hotel, the concierage desk can do this for you. We were able to get several next day PS's while staying at the Dolphin right before July 4th.

The only time I have seen them open the parks early is on a holiday. We were there the week of the 4th and the only day we saw an early park opening was July 4th when Epcot opened 30 minutes earlier then posted.
