We're planning on using Park n Cruise to save money on parking rather than paying $15/day to park at port and we have a few questions:

-Is the parking at Park n Cruise an actual parking lot (is it paved?) or is it jut like land with trees cur of and you park on the dirt?

-Does the shuttle to the port leave right away when you get on, or does it wait for a few more passengers before it leaves?

- Do you by any chance know exactly how many shuttles they have?

- Based on your opinion, what is the longest time for you to get from Park n Cruise to the port using their shuttle servcie (including the time you have to wait for the shuttle to leave)?

TIA! :goodvibes

Have not used them myself but they have been discussed a great deal on the Cruise Critic.com boards and have gotten great reviews. It has been described as a nice facility, great staff and shuttles that run constantly. Haven't read anyone that was unhappy with their experience.

Also read it shows $6.99 per day but they are running a special for $4.99 per day if you book online.

Hope this helps.....

We used hem in June. The lot is gravel. We waited maybe 5 minutes after we called for them to pick us up. I know they were in the process of getting more buses due to demand. Service was fantastic.

Thanks! We've already reserved online :goodvibes

5 minutes to wait for the shuttle isn't so bad, right?

Gravel? Oh, that's ok, I guess :)

Do you know how many people each bus can fit?

Our bus was packed -- I would say about 20 with some standing.

Can I please ask what time you guys were there? And is there a limit as to how much baggage you can carry on the shuttle? Might not be enough room for everyone's

I should clarify that the packed bus was on the way back from the cruise. We arrived around noon at the lot. There were two other families. We waited about five minutes to board and we were on our way. There is room on the racks for about 10 large bags plus assorted smaller ones. They are very creative at getting them on the bus! The buses are the standard ones in use at airports and parking facilities. The man who runs the organization is fabulous. Drop off is inside a hangar type building so if it rains you won't get wet.

Have a super cruise and enjoy everything the dream has to offer!

On their fb page it says you park your own car. If parking is outside you would get wet, correct?

I'm a little confused on how this works. What do you drop off in the hanger? The rest of your family and luggage? So then the driver still has to go park the car outside correct?

What happens when your cruise is over and you get off the shuttle at Park 'n Cruise? Do they let you off in the hanger and then you walk out into the parking lot to your car?

Sorry, for all the questions. I'm weighing the pros and cons of Park 'n Cruise and terminal parking...

WE just got off the Dream on 8/25 and used Park N Cruise HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend! It is a gravel lot off the mainroad. We had a rental car and felt VERY safe leaving it there. We got there about 10:40 and they said that they couldnt get us too early at the terminal because we were Disney peops (because of the new 11 time) but there were about 10 of us at the time and we had about 10 pieces of luggage ourselves including carry ons and C-pap bag etc. and there was plenty of room. You drive into the hangar area and then the guy will tell you to drop off your luggage and then they put it in the shuttle for you ( VERY VERY nice people). and then one person will go park it wherever they tell you (based on which ship you sail on) because when they dropped us off they took us right to our row and told all of us (all disney people) that our cars should be in this row. When you pay for the duration of your cruise, they give you a card with their phone number on it and tell you to call when you get off the ship, we called and they were actually on the way to the terminal already, so our wait was less than 5 minutes. Definetly will use them again, very very nice people and easy very smooth process and totally felt safe leaving our car there.

Side note: yes the parking lot is all outside so if its raining you will get wet, but its not that big. the BIGGEST pro to using Park N Cruise is $$. Its 15 a day for terminal parking and they actually had a special when we went that was 4.99 for park n cruise their regular price is $6.99 so that saves a lot right there, and TOTALLY worth it, and im BIG on being convenient and not waiting haha. I can not think of a Con at all with using Park N Cruise..

We used them too!… We were picked up at around 8:50AM on the 25th? We were the only ones on the shuttle… Until we picked up some "Carnivalians"… Overall, a great experience, even though we had to wait 15-20 mins for the shuttle to pick us up…

I must say, we'd like to use them again, simply for their cheap rates, but we're booked for an NY cruise to Canada/New England in 2012, so we won't be able to use them again for a while… Actually, we're considering on changing our NY cruise to an Alaskan cruise in 2013 if they're sailing to Alaska again in 2013! But it only makes us wonder how much fortune we need to pay to park while on the cruise if Park n Cruise isn't there… :scared1:
