Well, I have never seen the park like this…and I’m guessing the majority are tourists. Lots of family reunions, “Yes, let’s all go to Disney in matching shirts”—said no man ever”, my fave tee) , tons of grandparents with kids, everyone walking around with a map, trying to figure where to go next.
I prolly wouldn’t have come if Dr. Strange wasn’t getting the boot but I did have a very special moment with him last night. I was in front row, with my Dr Strange shirt, bag, and ears. The gal next to me guessed it would be Thor , and said so with a heavy sigh. Well, DR. Strange worked that into the show and told Thor to go shake her hand before he left. He played that for all it was worth. At the end, he made another reference to her devotion to Thor and then looked at me, and said “ Well, at least she has better taste” and came over and shook my hand, thanked me for coming. MADE THE TRIP!
For the life of me, I cannot figure out why they are getting rid of the show…I’ve gone five times since I got here and every show has been packed and well received.
Last night was the last Pride Night at DL so CA was the most crowded I’ve ever seen it. Wall to wall people and you know it’s usually pretty casual, especially at night. The line for RSR was still at over an hour when they closed it off at park close.
Watched the SH-Boom thing for first time…that was unimpressive IMHO.
Bought the Eye of Agamoto Pandora charm, cause I’ve never seen it on eBay.
Did the dessert party Wednesday night, had my own table. Couldn’t eat a thing on the plate except the Bundt cake and had a cup of tea. Great view but it’s a one and done for me…I mean, it was a good show but really wasn’t that impressive, again, just my opinion.
Fireworks at SWGE tonight, the. Fantasmic tomorrow.
Glad I came cuz I’ve had some great visits with Loki, Star-Lord and of course, Dr. Strange.
Met a charming family on the CCI shuttle last night…Grandma was from Canada, daughter and grandkids from Australia. All the grandkids had been to Bibbidi-Bobbidi Boo and looked so pretty and theDGS was dressed like Prince Charming and was so handsome. The children were all so polite and well mannered. Lovely family.
OK, NAP TIME
