I know that opening times will sometimes change, but once EMHs are listed on the schedule does that normally stay the same for the particular park that has it? Specifically interested in the morning EMHs - if that makes a difference.

They are likely to stay at the park noted. Granted, they CAN change so don’t take things for granted and always re-check calendars, but they don’t later move EMH dates all that often - more of the exception than anything.

Wednesday are normally magic Kingdom even And has been for 3 years how every last April the last week they move Wednesday hours for the week I was there. This year it is back to Wednesday. So things can and do change

Thank you. Had they already posted that it would be Wednesday evening and then changed it or were you basing plans on what they had historically done?

Disney can and does change hours, so check right before your trip

We will be sure to double check ... it makes it challenging when they have you plan so many things far in advance and then they change things up at seemingly the last minute!

Because I am on here, it seems like a huge amount of people preplan their trips, but I wonder what percentage of people actually preplan.

They never posted that Wednesday was EMH I saw that they changed it when the first hours were released 6 month early. I did not have any ADR so it really did not matter to me at the time. I normally do 4 parks in one day and end at the MK on Wednesday I for for if I did 4 park that day or not. I think I answer your question

Generally they don't switch up or take away EMH although I'm sure it does happen sometimes.
They could add EMH or extend hours which would make EMH an hour earlier in the morning or possibly later at night.

It's interesting you mention the MK Wednesday pm EMH's. I have a trip in early October and the park hours for Oct 2nd moved the PM EMH at MK to the AM. It will be interesting to see the rest of the month and moving forward.

It only happened to me once. Several years ago when they had the 24 hour open event at MK in May they changed the scheduled EMH at HS from one night to another and messed up my plans, but that is pretty rare. It was done on relatively short notice.

It was a solo trip. I did some scrambling with my FP.
