Park Hours in December?

I'll be in WDW Dec. 3 through 11. How late are the parks usually open? Disney only has hours thru Aug. available on their site. Obviously they may change them this year vs. previous years, but I'm just looking for an idea. Thanks!

I have been doing my research for this time too, and from what I read AK closes at 5:00pm, MGM 7:00pm, Epcot 6:00pm except for WS which is usually 9:00pm, and MK usually 6:00 or 7:00pm. I read this on the historical hours page.

Epcot closes at 6?

That's kind of depressing. I wish it was seven....there's no reason Epcot couldn't close at 7.

Perhaps it could be 7:00 Maybe a little later on a friday or saturday night.

I went last December and also December 2000 and 2001.

This was my expereince:

MK was 9a to 6p on MVMCP nights
and 9a to 7p on non MVMCP nights
Last year Saturday was open till 11:00p (the Saturday I was there, Dec 6)

AK was 9a to 5p

Epcot Future World 9a to 7p
and World Showcase was 11a to 9:30p

MGM was 9a to 7p with one Fantasmic at 7:00p

This has pretty much been the same every year with the exception of MK on Fri and Sat.

I was there last year from Dec.5th-14th & the hours were the same as beattyfamily's, except:

On Sat.13th @ MK the hours were 9a-10p

Also, you should know that Adventureland doesn't open until 10am on Sunday-Friday during this time. Toontown & Tom Sawyers island don't open until 10am.

At Epcot, eventhough Future World closes @ 7pm, Mission Space & Test Track remain open until 9pm.

Thank you, everyone!!! I used the link that LindaD gave for last years park hours, and I've made my own spread sheet. This will help me plan my PS's, so when the 90 days hits I'll be ready. And of course I'll check Disney's site to see if anything has changed once '04 hours are available.

Thanks also for letting me know about Adventure land opening at 10am most days. I always ride POTC first, but that may have to change if it's not open

By the way, I should have asked this in my OP, but how crowded is it the 1st week of Dec.? Is it as bad as summer crowds, or is it rather empty? Something in between?

Oh, yay! Thanks for posting your experiences, December-goers!! I now feel much, much better knowing we can still wander lazily around World Showcase.

Disney would not be the same vacation experience without it!

The first week of December is a great time to go crowd-wise. It is NOTHING like summer crowds. It's probably more crowded than September and maybe January but it's definitely not crowded.
