Park hopping tour plans.

I am having a hard time figuring out how to best use our park hoppers. We have 5 day park hoppers. We usually skip AM EMH and just do most recommend parks. By the time I try and fit in all we want to do in each park it takes the whole day to do that. So the only real way I can figure out to use PH is to hop to park with PM EMH.

Can anybody share their tour plan with me where they utilized the park hoppers?? Just trying to get some ideas.

WE ran into this on our last trip, and to be honest, I wish we had not bought them. On a shorter trip we found it was easier to stay in the park.

I agree that for you, the evening EMH is the best way to use them. Stay in one park for a good portion of the day, and then make plans for dinner and EMH in another.

We always get park hoppers. We start at the park with AM EMH or go at rope drop. Then park hop to another park. Most of our dinners are at Epcot so we hop to Epcot for dinner and then to the park with evening EMH or just stay at Epcot. We stay 8 days and park hop to at least 1 or 2 other parks than the one we started at. Its nice to have the flexibility to go to another park if you want to. Since we go in Sept. the park hours are short especially MK which closes at 7pm 3 nites a week because of the halloween party.

In some ways, I think FP+ makes this easier. On a couple days we're planning to hit one park at rope drop (or AM EMH) and then leave that park when the lines start to pick up, but have our 3 FP+ scheduled for late afternoon/evening at the other park. We'll go back to the resort/pool in the middle, though.

We have 5-day park hoppers too. I haven't got everything pinned down (not going until Easter break), but because of the Flower and Garden Festival I want to be able to hop to Epcot whenever we want to partake in the Outdoor Kitchen kiosks and various garden displays and tours.
I'm basically planning the first half of the day at a certain park, then kind of leaving the evening/night open to go wherever we want. EMH will definitely play a role in that decision. We also don't find much to do in HS, so we'll probably either hop to it from Epcot or from it to Epcot via the boat. And Easter Sunday we'll be hopping (how appropriate!) between MK and Epcot to catch the Easter pre-parade before FoF and do the egg-stravaganza thing in World Showcase.

I don't know. I just like the freedom to say, "Okay, MK is getting obnoxious, let's go stroll around Epcot and look at flowers while we eat." :)

We do the same as some of the PP's. We get to one park at opening, taking advantage of most AM EMH, and stay in that park until it gets too crowded for our tastes. We make our FP reservations for late afternoon or early evening, and do that as our second park of the day. We rarely stay for PM EMH.

I second this strategy. That's how we plan to use them. Or just sleep in one day and make later FP+ reservations.

Most of our days, we hit rope drop (not morning EMH) at our scheduled park and stay until just after lunchtime. We head back to our resort for a break and then head back out to a park (which may or may not be the same as the morning park) for dinner and evening entertainment. My kids are still young, so we can't easily do evening EMH and make rope drops, so we don't usually use any EMH hours.

However, our trips are longer than just 5 days. I'm thinking that with a shorter trip, we'd do without hoppers and just stay all day in the park and not worry so much about breaks.

Much like other PPs, we get to rope drop or do early EMH- then usually after lunch (or before if we are hopping to EP) hop to the park that had EMH the day before. We never hop to a park that has late EMH unless it is EP- don't feel like walking into gridlock in the middle of the day.

Unlike many, we don't do rope drop or morning EMH, but we always hop. We usually make plans for one park in the day and another at night. We take advantage of PM EMH, but we also like the fact that we can just go explore another park on a whim.

For us the whole advantage of PHs are you don't really have to plan a lot, I do my 3 FP but usually just for those rides that I really, really, really want to ride. Then if we aren't feeling it at park 1, we hop over to another park and just decide on the fly what park that is going to be. We usually stay at an Epcot resort so it's nice to know that no matter where we started our day, there is a good chance we are going to end it in WS.
