We are thinking of doing some park hopping on our coming trip in mid March, and I have some questions about some of our hops. What is the most efficient way to go from Downtown Disney to Epcot? From MK to Blizzard Beach? Mk to TL? We are planning to take advantage of EMH and do a water park in the same day, as well as use the day after EMH strategy. Also, am I right in thinking the best way to go from Epcot to MGM is by boat? and MK to Epcot is by monorail? Thanks in advance for any help.

You can take the boat from Epcot to MGM, but.. if you're inclined you can also walk. Leave Epcot, going out the International Gateway (between France and England). Head toward the Boardwalk and then continue along the canal (left side). Either way works well.

MK to Epcot -- we usually do the monorail, but sometimes we take the ferry from MK to the transportation center and then the monorail to Epcot. If it's there and waiting, the ferry is a nice alternative. But the monorail is always great.

Haven't done Blizzard Beach so I can't help there. For Downtown Disney, my only advice is to allow a lot of time. I believe buses are the only option. Our personal experience is that buses to and from DD take a lot of time and are not very frequent. (We usually go in May, so it might be that it's just a less busy time of year).

One of the things we love about WDW are all the different transportation options - bus, boat, ferry, monorail, feet...

Hope you have a magical time!!

Buses don't go to the parks from DTD. SO your only option is to take a bus to a hotel and change to the park bus.

We are staying at ASMU and it appears to be a long way off from DTD according to the maps. Would it make more sense to go to a closer resort and switch to the Epcot bus there instead of backtracking it all the way to ASMU. Is Caribbean Beach a good option? It appears closest to DTD on the map. Thanks for your previous help and suggestions.
