Park Hopping: Is it exactly at 11am? WDW used to allow 13 minutes early.

Has anyone tested hopping just before 11am at DL or is that the exact time.
At WDW when hopping was 2pm you could scan in at 1:47pm on the dot every time.

In the past, they had a line for park hopping, and they did not open the gate until exactly 11am.

They don't allow you to hop early. At most, I've been able to hop 1-2 minutes before 11, but even that isn't typical.

In the past, they've had the lines to the right be for those with DCA reservations and those to the left were for park hopping. But yesterday that wasn't the case, and everyone just sort of started hopping lines a bit further back and then went to the turnstiles right before 11. They were definitely turning away anyone hopping trying to scan in before 11.

There have been a few times when the cast members started allowing us in at 10:58 for whatever reason. But as I noted, definitely not typical. As you've experienced too, I'm sure, it's usually waiting until 11 a.m. on the dot.
