Park Hopper to AP?

I purchsed Park Hopper tickets but now I realize it really makes sense for at least one of us to purchase an AP. Can I upgrade or am I out of luck? I should have started all this research before I purchased tickets but I had no idea how much information is out there. Now I'm obsessed with planning.

Wow - I didn't really think I'd be able to do that! Disney keeps amazing me and we aren't even there yet. If I upgrade at Guest Relations, can I purchase a DDE membership from them? I really want that DDE membership - what a deal.

Hmmmm....I never bought that, but I would think so....maybe someone will come along that knows for sure.

For DDE card I think you need to call the DDE number. It takes about 6 weeks to get the card but they will email you a confirmation you present to get the discount. I did this without having my AP yet and they let me. Since the restaurants will need to see your AP along with the DDE confirmation letter or card, they know you cannot use the DDE card without having an AP. Does that make sense hopefully? The number is 407-566-5858. I think they are open from 9-5 est. By the way this card saved us a TON of money. You can use it at the food courts and its good for acholoic beverages too.
