park hopper tickets...

i just cant l decide about getting the park hopper tickets and not getting them. Has anyone ever bought them and not used it ? What if i buy tickets from undercover without it can i add that opition on to the tickets later ?

it's just my hubby and I going, so no kids

I bought park hoppers when we went last year because we were staying at the POP with the dining plan and I didn't want to be tied to returning to the same park for dinner. It was also nice to go to one park in the AM go back to the room for a swim and then go to a different park at night.

I don't know about buying "undercover" tix.

As far as park-hopping, DW & I go w/o kids. We love to parkhop. Spend the AM in one park, go back to the hotel in the afternoon to swim/nap, & then another park in the evening. Have you considered what your schedule might be? Based on what park has EMH (& whether or not I want to participate), I decide my schedule ahead of time. That helps me decide if I want to hop or not.

I am a big advocate for park hopping. You can use it to your advantage for avoiding the crowds. Say you go to MK on Monday. Well, when you get there, there is a huge crowd. So many people that you can't walk or hardly breathe. Do you want to stay in that and deal with lines over 2 hours. I don't. So hop on over to EPCOT where the crowd is much smaller and enjoy the day there and save the MK for another day. Without that option, you would just have to stay and deal with it. Doesn't make for a pleasurable vacation when you get stepped on by 50 people before lunch.

Undercover Tourist is a reputable ticket broker, but I've found that TicketMania has the same prices for what Undercover Tourist offers, and also has many choices that Undercover Tourist doesn't offer.

Disney will always let you pay up at their parks to upgrade tickets, they just don't let you downgrade them.
