Park Hopper Plus tickets, do I understand this correctly?

Ok, I think I get it...
If I buy the 5 day PHP I get 1 Plus option (which for us will be the water park). Now I think I read that if I use my Plus on one day I will not be charged for a day of the 5 days. Ugh, am I making sense. Here is an example to make it clearer:
We're arriving on a Sunday and our only plan that day is to go to the water park, no "real theme park". Then we still have 5 FULL days left on our PHP (M, T, W, Th & F) to go to the other theme parks (AK, MK, EPCOT & MGM). It is kind of like an extra day unless you use it in conjection with a park visit (like water park in the morning, theme park in the afternoon).
Is this right? It looks cheaper to get the PHP then to get a PH & pay for 1 day at a water park.

You've got it right. You're not charged one of your park admission days for a day when you only go to a water park.

You are right in your thinking Erin, but here is a nice surprise for you. You get *2* pluses with a 5 day hopper. So you can either go to a water park another day, or go to Pleasure Island one evening. OR you can save your plus for your next visit. :teeth:

We always save our pluses for a waterpark which is $30+ to get in. Whereby, you can buy a PI ticket for $15!!

The pluses never expire!!

I completely agree with this "tip" VAN! Hey! $15 is $15!!! ::yes:: :)

I will also add my two cents to those who suggest NOT using a plus option for Pleasure Island. Almost every time I have visited, Pleasure Island had a "special" of 5 additional days for $5 if you purchased one days admission. This was a much better deal than using the plus option from the hopper pass. In fact, I never purchase hopper passes with the plus options because my family doesn't visit the water parks.

I've never used the plus features on my Hoppers yet. We wanted to go to BB last trip, but it was closed due to maximum capacity. So, here's a question: can the plus be used at Disney Quest? My dh wants to go there next time we are at WDW. And, what is the usual admission price there?

Thanks!

The plus can not be used for DisneyQuest. I think admission is around $32 for adults--there are discounts for DVC and AP members.
