Park Hopper Plus-expiration?

The last time we bought tickets (a few years ago) the Park Hopper Plus passes had the waterpark/Pleasure Island etc, but they had to be used within 5 days of the first time the ticket was used. Now it looks like these never expire, the same as the unused days for the theme parks. Is this right, or did I read it wrong?

Also, DD is 9 years old NOW, but by the time we are able to use the first day of the ticket, she will be 10. Can we get by with a kids ticket for her, or do we need to buy an adult ticket.

Thanks for your help!! I love how much useful information is on this site that you'd never be able to find anywhere else!

Park hoppers never expire. I seem to remember being told this more than 10 years ago, too. So either your hoppers are still good, or you have a different kind of ticket. I bet if you call 407wdisney, they will be able to tell you for sure.

As for what you buy your child, what you could do and what you should do are two entirely different things. If you have a partially used child hopper for her, they will upgrade it for her to use after she's ten. But if it hasnt been used yet, it should be an adult one. Now will anyone stop you and ask for ID? probably not.
