Park Hopper Plus and DQ

I purchased PHP's at the Disney Store for my niece (16) and nephew (14) last Dec for our upcoming Oct trip. They have never been to WDW and want to see it all, including Disney Quest (we have never been there in our previous trips). I dug out the passes yesterday and it looks like they can't be used for admission to DQ. I am not going to pay for a separate ticket, so I guess I would like to be upfront with them and they don't get their hopes up. Can anyone verify that DQ is not a "plus" option? Thank you.

Right, DQ is not one of the pluses on an old PHP ticket.

I just boought 2 DQ tickets to use on our next trip thru the Mousesavers link for $21 each. Not too bad a price for a fun time.

DQ does not count as a plus. I can't really quite figure out why not but if you want to go you will need to purchase admission.

On the tickets I have, it's an option. I just bought them them. I have the Magic your way, park hopper, magic plus. I get 3 admissions per person for the other things disney offers. What I mean by that is typhoon lagoon, blizzard beach and DQ. I also get unlimited admission to everything else in DTD and PI.

On the old tickets - DQ was not considered an option. On the new tickets (beginning this year), DQ is available as an option.

Perhaps you could upgrade your tickets once you get there to MYW with options. Check with Guest Services, they should be able to help you.

Indeed. The ticket would have to have been printed/purchased sometime after January. The prices of the "pluses" or the "MPP's" were raised slightly to reflect the Disney Quest use. If it doesn't include Disney Quest, you really didn't pay for it anyways.
