While checking prices for the multi day hopper passes it is obvious that the 7 day hopper passes are the best deal for hopper passes. So my question is ... Is it ok to purchase 4 - 7 day passes (28 days) for a family of 6 who will need 4 days of park passes (24 days) and save the remaining 4 days use for the next trip or is it required that each guest have their own individual ticket (7 - 4 day passes to equal the same 28 days) which is a significantly higher cost? In other words can I use a day on a pass and hand it back to the wife and then she hand it back to the kids or can each ticket only be used once per day?

I believe that the answer is no because the card doesn't scan one day off at a time, it actually scans the date used (I may be wrong, but this is what I was told by a CM). It scans the date so you are able to hop from park to park on the same day without using another day of your pass.
I am not 100%, but this is what I have heard.

Let's say 3 people in our group have ph tickets and 2 have individual days. The whole group starts out at Epcot and decided to Hop over to MK or MGM. Can the 3 w/ ph tix go to MK, one come out with 2 ph tix and give to the other 2 to get through the gate since the ones with the Ind tix will have handstamped from Epcot already? (is there a "time stamp" that might redflag the entry since if it is w/in xmin) of last park entry?)

Has anyone actually tried this?

Thanks!

No, most people don't try to cheat the system. why not just buy 4 day park hoppers.

True, this could be done.

However, there is a lot of Security at the parks, especially around the gate areas. Many of the Security Hosts are in costume as tourists!

If someone notices a person who has gone out and them come back right away with some ohter people and then join up with some others in the park they could ask to see all the people's tickets. They can check to see what parks they were used for (because of one central computer). Then you could end up with no tickets and being escorted out of the park.

I know they caught some tour groups pulling this sort of stunt a couple of years ago. They revoked all the tickets from everyone in the group and also banned the tour company.

2 of our lg group will only be with us for 1 or 2 days and probably won't be back anytime soon to use remaining non-expiring days. Also, some of us have the 3-day hoppers already and the rest of the group will probably get 4 day php, so if we decide to do a 4th day, single tix would be the most economical in the short hall.

But after reading the last person's post, it doesn't pay to risk getting thrown out, so we'll have to reconsider our options.

Thanks!

When entering the second park when you are hopping they will look for a handstamp from the first park. If you don't have one they wouldn't let you in.

Thanks for the information. I didnt think it was possible but figured I should ask the experts anyway.

Even though you get your hand stamped when you leave one park, when you go to another park with your park hopper ticket they still make you put your ticket back through the machine. My mother was having a fit because she thought it was going to take another day off our pass, but that was the only way you could get back in another park. I know someone who did what you are talking about years ago & didn't get caught. However at that time they only checked the hand stamp on one person & the other person went in with the ticket.
