Just returned from a FABULOUS trip to the World! Wanted to give feedback on our late lunch at Space 220. UNDERWHELMED. Nice interior theming. For $79 pp, you receive an app and a main with one side. The 6 ounce steak could be upgraded to a filet for $9 additional dollars. Our meal arrived and I kid you not, the filet was eaten in four bites!!!!! TINY. The side was french fries served barely warm. Dessert ? $14 more. We are very mad about dropping $200 for this tiny meal. NEVER again.

Agreed! We rushed over for to our reservation in December, missing out on a ride we had hoped to do with my parents, and left completely underwhelmed. The food was only okay, and mom didn’t enjoy it at all. I noticed that the fun touches (kids and dogs in spacesuits floating around) are gone. It seems like it’s trying to go more upscale, but the original concept was more family friendly. It just felt boring.

We loved it last November. The food was good, the service was good, and there were plenty of people and pets floating around through space. I don’t know if it makes a difference but we were there at lunch time, not for dinner.

Do they no longer have the people floating around in space? (couple dancing, walking the dog, space men floating around, etc?)

ETA: They had a "soft opening" when we were there a few years back, and on day number 2, we got lunch reservations. They were scheduled for their grand opening a couple of weeks later. The food was ok, but way too heavy for mid day when running around the parks. The theming was fun and the waitress was in character. I have reservations for our next trip, but would be highly disappointed if the floating people weren't there any longer.

I’m not 100% sure all of what is floating. If you aren’t sat by the “window” it’s pretty hard to see what’s happening. This does happen at other Disney restaurants but that paired with price and extremely slow service it just wasn’t a win for us.

I will add I had I did the best appetizer of my life there (possibly the best bite I’ve ever had) I would probably go to the lounge and try that if I wanted to get that app again, but not the restaurant.

$79 is the dinner price and would have included dessert. If you got charged that for lunch you got screwed.

What “window”? isn’t the whole wall the window? Or is that from my viewpoint in the Lounge where you can see from side to side… I have only ever done Lounge, can’t bring myself to pony up for the full meal situation.

Yeah it could have been one big window. We were so far in the middle I cant really remember a whole lot. We also spent a ton of time looking for our waiter 💀

Only a matter of time before it becomes 21+ à la Geo-82
