We are planning a trip for October, 2024 and its looking like a large group, 3 family groups, about 18 people. There will be 2-10 year olds, 2-4 year olds (or close to it) and 2-3 year olds plus parents, grandparents and a great grandparent. Also, one adult has Downs and at least one adult will be on a scooter due to some health issues. Its just the beginning of our planning and we have a TA who is knows about Disney trips.
I think some of the group are not wanting to get the Genie+ because of the expense. One family will have 3 adult tickets and 3 child tickets so it will get even more expensive.
I wondered if getting the park hopper might be a better idea. That way we could get to say MK early, do what we can there, eat lunch and then go to AK if the standby lines at MK are unmanageable.
Or if I can talk them into getting Genie+ at least for MK and at least for the ones who will be riding the most rides.
Thanks.
