I'm also in Columbus! :wave2:
My hair can't deal with our weather, I'm going to be a hot mess in Florida

My hair is wavy most of the year, but curls right up in high humidity. For my upcoming trip, I'm having the sides buzz cut with clippers, leaving it longer on top with some extra length in front.
This isn't so shocking though, as this is how I always get my haircut! I love being able to hop out of the shower, towel dry my hair, blow dry it for 20-30 seconds and be done for the day. :goodvibes

I have fine straight hair but it's layered. I put it in a ponytail but the front layers just lay there. I am looking for any tips on what you use on the part to keep your head from burning. Anything I have used leaves the hair that isn't long enough for the ponytail looking limp and greasy.

I have shoulder-length, fine hair with some natural wave. I usually wet it and blow dry straight in 5-7 minutes and go, just like I do at home most days. The humidity makes my hair plump up 3x my normal volume with all the frizz, so I end up pulling it back at the neck once I get hot. PARK HAIR, DON'T CARE!

Sunscreen.

My NC hair is usually pretty manageable, but I use Aveda Smooth Infusion Style Prep so it doesn't get an attitude. BUT at WDW, I up my tame the mane game with Aveda Smooth Infusion Style Cream. I get pretty cranky when my hair is frizzy, and this works well whether you blow dry or not.

Try a face sunscreen stick. Rub it on your finger and then do your part; easier to keep it mostly out of your hair that way.

I will have to give this a try. I have never seen this before. And I like the suggestion above too about using face sunscreen and applying it with my fingers. Thank you!
It is hard to find. I got it at Walmart. I didn't check this year though to see if they have it.

I just bought them after seeing them on this thread! I'm still practicing! My hair is fine, wavy and layered and the back stayed in great. I wasn't able to get the sides to be tight tough. I'm not sure if I need the mini ones or better coordination! :) I'm still working on it! Thanks for those who mentioned it, it seems like it will work well once I get the hang of it!

I am the same way. When we go during cooler times I can leave it down part of the day, but if I do any fast rides I want it off my face and not getting tangled. I usually clip it up on top of my head to get it off my neck and I can usually get my bangs up too if I want. This is also good for wet rides and for keeping my scalp from getting sunburned since I don't like hats.

I used to only wear mine up until I got tired of looking rough in our family pictures lol :P I have long wavy (frizzy prone) hair. This helps me a lot:

I'll use a heavier smoothing conditioner while there. Wash/blow dry at night (Something about that time sleeping on it helps with the smoothness, unless just my imagination lol!). In the mornings, I'll use a flat iron with a light oil based smoothing spray. It takes a bit, bc just hitting it quickly means I'm a frizzy hot mess come middayo_O But, the effort in the room pays off for the rest of the day. I'll then take a small travel brush and brush my hair out when going to the restroom throughout the day. No matter rain, what rides, or the temp. It keeps my hair decent all day (even down to the empty Main Street pics we love to take since we're night owls:D).

We've had a lot of summer WDW trips. My hair is very thick but pretty straight. Now I wear it short, but in the past I've done ponytails or buns and it worked quite well. Otherwise if I fussed with it and it got wet - rain or otherwise - it quickly became a mess.
