We are going in February and then again in July. In July we are staying a Sunday - Saturday and I bought a 4 day park hopper+ because it’ll be our 5th time to Disney with our daughter and we wanted to try out the water parks.

We normally do a park day every day. Is the 4 day park hopper+ enough? We are staying at boardwalk if that matters at all. My husband isn’t sure that it’s worth it for the $100+ (total) to update it to a 5 day ticket. Can you make an entire day out of a water park?

If you're going in July, you certainly could work it out to spend an entire day at the water park. Of course, it'll be weather dependent, as it's not unusual for afternoon thunderstorms. As for a day or 2 without a park? We do that often. If you're at BW, you have many decent eating options within walking distance, you can also dine at another resort. You also are within walking distance to Fantasia Golf for mini golf. There are spots around the lake at BW where you can stand and watch at least park of the EPCOT fireworks. Enjoy a non-park day, or 2!!

Oh yea. That’s right. Our park hopper plus does include mini golf as well. So that’s not bad.

The first day we are there is a Sunday and we were just going to stay at the pool. Maybe I’ll see if I can get a nicer dinner. We are going with my sister in law, brother in law, and their 2 kids. But we are staying until the Saturday and they are leaving on the Thursday. I thought we’d do a character breakfast with them on the Thursday (either cape may or Topolino’s) and then the water park that day.

ETA: I looked back at the 2019 after hours dates and see a lot of villains after hours parties were Thursdays at magic kingdom. Hoping that they offer them again this year because I’d totally buy that then and forget about the 5th park day lol.

Oh, and you can bring your own food to the waterpark, but it’s also fun to enjoy a meal there (not to mention a brew or 2 to cool yourself down!!!🍻🍺🍻

We go often and I always get a park hopper for every day we are there, including arrival day but not the day we leave. We have been going since the early 80s and have never stepped foot in a water park. When my son was younger the pools at the resort were just fine for him. As he got older, he preferred to spend a hour or so at the pool but wanted to spend part of every day at a park. Back when we first started going you could get length of stay tickets so it was no problem. As far as BW at night. There are some night time entertainers there like magic acts or acrobats, etc. but it's usually just one act, not all up and down the BW. They do show movies at night on the lawn. Pool hours are dependent on the season.

The pool/water park is one of her favorite things. We went to Hershey over the summer and she could have spent all day in the water park section of the park. So we do want to do the water parks. Just trying to see if it would be worth it to get the 5 day so we could go at night after we go to the water park.

would only do max two days in row at park and break up with pool day

Maybe I’ll just stick with my plan then. We went in April 2022 for 10 days, are going in February this year and again in July. 😂 so I figured breaking it up with a water park one day would be nice.

Love going to the waterpark for a day! If you are needing more to do in the day Disney Springs at night is a great way to make a full day with the waterpark.

I actually ended up adding another park day. Even with adding a 5th day to our park hopper+, we saved $600 with the 25% off promotion this summer 😂. I can always change my mind and do 4 days again but figured why not
