For those of you who just returned from WDW I hope your trip was great. We will be arriving at the AKL on the 17th and I was wondering how the park crowds were while you were there?

Thanks!

We just returned last night from our first trip to WDW. We were there from 5/7 to 5/14. The crowds were very manageable as long as you arrived at the parks early. We were able to ride every ride with no more than 5-10 minute wait. We did not, however, ride the kiddie rides other than Peter Pan and Tomorrowland Raceway, which our 8 year old loves. The crowds typically peaked by 1:00 and were much less in the evening. We took an afternoon break each day and returned after dinner to cooler temps and much more manageable crowds.

We just got back last Friday, having been there May 8 - 13. While the crowds weren't terrible, it was busier than I had anticipated it being. With the end of the school year being so close, I figured families wouldn't be taking their kids out of school....but my thinking was wrong! But we never had to stand in any really long lines. Fastpass helped with that also. We've always previously gone during the summer, fully expecting and experiencing crowded parks. Compared to summer, crowds weren't bad.

we were there May 3-10 and the crowds were not bad. i was anticipating more. we usually arrived at the parks by 9am and left by 2pm. we were lucky to have a castle view room, and didn't have to deal with going to the MK at night. we did, however, attend the Fantasmic show (don't miss it) and hung out at MGM for a hour afterwards waiting for the crowd to thin out before trying to head back to our resort.

We live 11 minutes from MK and went to MGM Friday night and crowds weresmall but went to MK last night and it looked like a holiday weekend. Remember Fridays are great at MK Don't go on Monday, it is their busiest weekday. Hope you enjoy. Book reservations to dine at Ohanas in the Polynesian its our favorite DW restaurant
