Park Crowds and Reservations

Need your thoughts! I'm about 15 days away from making some ADR's and wanted to see what your thoughts were. Here is the low down:

We have a party of 10 going to Kidani in September. We have a 2 bedroom and a Studio amongst us. We met last night to go through a little planning session and out of the 10 of us, me and my DH are the two who have been there before. Since Kidani is our home resort and my nieces are animal lovers, I thought it'd be the best place for their first stay. Anyway..... we are going from Saturday to Saturday.

I want to make reservations at BBB for my nieces so here's my question - do you think the MK would be more crowded on a Sunday or a Monday? My original thought would be Sunday as the most crowded (and MK as the most crowded parks), since the kids go back to school on Monday and people are trying to get the most out of their weekend.

So I was thinking about making the BBB on Monday and using Sunday as our trip to the Animal Kingdom park. Do you agree with this or do you have other opinions?

Also, one more question - regarding the BBQ grills at AKV, do you know where they are and if they use charcoal bricks?

Not sure about the Sunday/Monday thing. For locals I think Sunday would be more crowded at MK, less for travelers at they would head home for school Monday.

The grill are charcoal and not very conviently located. They are by the the (tennis or basket ball court) cannot remember what type of court it was. I wish they would have located them closer to the pool so DH could easily check with me when things were ready.

We skipped using them just because of the location.

Thanks for the info! Hmm...grills seem a bit away then from everything. Thats definitely info to consider. We'll have to scope it out before we head to the grocery store to see if we still want to do that.
