we are going the week after thanksgiving week- (Nov 28th)

eveything i've read is that its one of the least crowded time of year to go

we are going with a group 0f 15---
one of our group members called disney yesterday-- and was told by a cm that the park is very busy that week ????


i'm figuring that since disney released room only codes and pakckages -- that they were low on attandence and needed to fill up rooms-- so i t won't be busy.


i was at the park last year the first week in december and it was very quiet andnot crowded

what should we expect????

I think it depends on what park you go to on what day and how the stars are aligned.

We've been the first week of December the last several years and it does seem to be getting more crowded each year. My game plan is to stay out of MK on Saturday and hit the park that had extra magic hour the day before. It worked great last year. Good luck!

we were there last year, and aside from the Friday and Sat after Thanksgiving, the parks were fairly empty! Even if there is a larger than normal crowd, that still doesn't mean hour waits for rides. We walked onto most rides over and over. (and over on Buzz Lightyear!)

Was your group calling about ADRs? Maybe the CM said that when she had trouble finding seating for 15? Because I would think that would happen on the slowest days with a large party.

Don't worry--at it's worst, it will still be WAY better than anytime in the summer!
