Park and ride hotels: YYZ

Any preferred hotels to do the night, with park and ride to/from Pearson? Friend recently did one but said the tiny van shuttle was slammed in the morning, to the point where after a 30-40 minute wait, he just got an Uber. That audible wouldn’t really be an option, with 2 young ones in car seats.

You just hop on the train and it takes you right to the airport in a couple of minutes. You walk from the hotel to the train station which are adjacent to each other. It's very, very simple and no car seats necessary.

i was going to suggest the Alt as well. They have parknfly rates that include either outside or the parking garage that are very reasonable. We've never had any complaints over the numerous stays. No need to fret over getting to the airport when departing and when you get home, just hop back on the link train and head to the car, no waiting for a shuttle. It might be worth noting that there are very minimal food offerings that are really pricey and won't appeal to kids!

We use the American Express Credit Card to stay at the Sheraton Gateway. We applied for the cc and it cost $150. We spent (I think $3,000k) and got 50,000 Bonvoy points. Then the following year after paying the yearly fee of $150 we got a free room at the Gateway plus an extra 12,000 points. For the next four years we got a room for the annual fee of $150. We use Skypark or Park n fly the day of the hotel stay. There’s nothing like waking up and walking indoors to the airport
