Is there a way to enter a park to do a Character Meal without using up a day on a hopper? We will have a four day hopper (fifth day is a rest day in the middle) but can we book any in-park Character meals on that fifth day?

Sorry about the placement in the forums- wasn't sure if this was a "Theme Park" question or a "Restaurant" question, so tried here first.)

Thanks,
Mike

I don't think they will let you in without using a park pass. There is no way for them to know if you will leave the character meal & go get on rides.

I would think the only way to avoid using a park pass is to do a character meal at one of the resorts.

I'm not 100% sure though, so I'd like to know from other posters too!

If you do a character breakfast in one of the parks, you also have to have a park admission ticket.

Chef Mickey's character meal at the CR is very popular (we haven't tried it). We did do the Cinderella dinner at the 1900 Park Fare at the GF last time and the kids loved that.

So if you don't want to go in the park, just pick a character meal at one of the resorts. Beaches and Cream has a Character breakfast (again, haven't tried it myself).

Sorry, the only way to get into the parks is with a ticket... character meal or not.

Thanks all.

We are doing 1900 Park Fare the night we arrive (before our first day in the parks) - maybe we'll just do dinner at Downtown Disney for a change on the "rest day".

Thanks again,
Mike
