Paris, France....When's the best time to visit?

I would say any time of year is great in Paris, May would probably be best weather wise and its before the peak summer travel season. Once you get into June, airfare and hotel rates get super high for most of the summer. March/April is nice also, howeverthe weather could be hit or miss but hotels are cheaper.

Paris is a beautiful city, either way have you will have fun. I am going to be the end of this week, so excited to go back.

If you are not restricted to school schedules, May is a nice time to go, but can be rainy. We usually go in August, because the weather is usually still warm. Lot of locals take the month off, so the pace in the city is slower.

They say late spring early summer. I like September the best.

It's still warm and rates are lower.

If the weather was so easy to predict I can assure you that would be counted ad High Season in Disney Paris
I'm sorry but there is no way to tell when the weather will be nice. We can have very cold summers and I myself found myself standing with my coat over my arm on NYE on Big Thunder Mountain just before midnight.
Take clothes for both kinds of weather.

We went the first week of January, 2006. It was cold, rainy and gray. I'm dying to go back in the springtime so we can leisurely stroll down the streets and take in the sights.

depends on what is important to you...

April/May - gorgeous flowers, could (or not) be warm, avoid Easter week due to crowds, less busy but crowds are starting to pick up

June - nice weather, but the crowds are rolling in

July - nicest weather, most crowded, check if that hotel has a/c

August - hot. town is dead this month and restaurants, etc. may be closed

Sept. - my personal favorite. still may need a/c, but nice weather and the crowds are low. long days to stroll

Dec. - pretty to see Christmas decorations. weather? not too good if you get a week of cold rain.
