Okay gang, instead of searching, Im just throwin it out there..and while I search, y'all can answer.K?
Wife and I are going to the Dis December 14-17. We were just there in June, but instead of taking kids, we're goin it alone.
Any suggestions on adult type entertainment and dining would be great. Staying ON SITE, so any recommendations there are helpful, too.
Come on with it! Plan our TRIP!

More info would be helpful. Do you want a value, mod or deluxe for your stay? What kind of food do you like? Are either of you picky eaters?
DH and I are staying at the Coronado Springs Resort for our 7th stay at that resort in September with our best friends. It is our fifth trip without the kids. We are not "fancy" food eaters (we don't need the food designed pretty and stuff put all over it), so we skip the signature restaurants. We are dining at LeCellier, Fulton's, Rose and Crown, Plaza, Whispering Canyon, Boma and others.

Coronado Springs is a terrific moderate resort, if that's where your budget leads you. It has the feel of a deluxe--large deluxe, mind!--with the cost of a moderate.

My favourite adult place (AC) won't be open when you visit, but many of the DIS members love Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk. Dueling pianos format. There is a cover charge, but I don't know how much. Not a huge amount, if I remember correctly.

You're going to have a wonderful "parents only" trip! A:)

When DW and I go without kids or grandkids, we take the opportunity to dine at many of the resort restaurants instead of having dinners inside the parks. Note that we always rent a car, so doing resort dinners doesn't present the transportation headaches that it does for those depending on Disney transportation.

POFQ is also nice. You can take a carriage ride. The boat to DD is nice and relaxing. The grounds are beautiful.

Good time to explore other resorts, nice restaurants and rent boats. Also nice to take your time around WS and try new foods and drinks.:goodvibes
