Parents of children who received First Communion this spring...

I'm assuming most of us have done it by now. Just wondering how everyone did.

I am very happy with the way ours turned out. The Mass was beautiful, my son looked gorgeous (thank God he brought his arm AFTER the actual First Communion), and the party went very well. The restaurant we rented did a fine job. I'm even happy with the way I looked. Got a new dress for the occassion and thought I looked pretty good.

How'd it go for everyone else?

My DD made her first communion May 1st. It was a great day weather-wise. The church was really nice but really crowded. There were 75 kids making their 1 st communion. DD looked beatiful. Her veil and flowers in her hair were made by her aunt. We had a big party at our firehouse for her. WE had about 60 people. Food was great and atmosphere was wonderful. Overall, wonderful day!!!

We had a wonderful day!! Rachel looked absolutley beautiful!! The mass was so moving. The children sang up on the alter.

We went for brunch with the immediate family. It was lovely and the weather beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a better day all around!!
