Hello! We just booked our first Royal Caribbean cruise on the Oasis. The RCI rep said that the only restriction with having the kids in another category is the use of the concierge lounge, which is totally understandable.

He said that other than the lounge use, there should not be a problem. We're just wondering what has been your experience with having two different categories within the same immediate family? Will we be allowed check-in for both rooms at the suite area? And can we book our shows and specialty dinners so that we will be together. TIA!

I don't have an answer, but I'll bump this up for you. We are basically in the same situation. We booked adults in the 2 bedroom suite, and the boys in the next door balcony. Really surprised they would book 2- 13 year old boys in their own room.

checking in together in the suite line will not be a problem. technically they cannot access the suite only sections of the theater and the pool, but It is unlikely that they will not be allowed to accompany you

everything else( save the CL which you have already been correctly told they cannot access) is open to all, regardless of stateroom category and their only restrictions would be curfew and the kid's clubs rules.
